"From burgers to love"

 

I met my fiancée at a part time crappy job that I had in college. I was working at Burger King and I really hated it. But then I met Dan. He hated the job as much as I did and that was how we started talking in the first place. We complained and made fun of people every time we worked together. We laughed all the time and it made the job better. I really liked him a lot but he wouldn't ask me out so I didn't know if that meant that he didn't like me "that way" or if he was just being shy. And then I got another job and gave my notice. When I told Dan that I was leaving for another job, a real job, he got this look on his face that let me know that he did like me and didn't want me to leave.

He STILL didn't ask me out. When my last day came and I put that hideous paper hat down on the counter I thought for sure he would do something but nothing happened! It made me crazy. And I was really upset on the way home because I knew that I would have no excuse to see him again. Unless I wanted to gain 10 pounds ordering burgers everyday. So I decided to just forget and move on. One week went by and
then he finally called me. The first thing he said was "I really miss you" the rest of our story is typical but it has a happy ending. We are getting married next year.
